IPL 2023 :- Key Points to Watch Out for in the DC vs MI Match here is Predicted XI
The Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are gearing up for a crucial match at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi in the ongoing IPL 2023 season. Both teams are in desperate need of a win to revive their stuttering campaigns, with DC having lost all three of their matches so far, and MI losing two out of two. As the teams prepare for the encounter, there are some key tip-offs to watch out for.
Jofra Archer set to make a return
MI had been heavily reliant on Jofra Archer in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, but Archer also missed their previous match against the Chennai Super Kings due to discomfort in his right elbow. However, on the eve of the match against DC, all-rounder Cameron Green confirmed that Archer is fit and available. Although Archer looked rusty in the first match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, if the pitch in Delhi continues to offer assistance to fast bowlers as it did against Gujarat, the English pacer could pose a real challenge to the DC openers.

Sakariya likely to replace Khaleel
DC’s assistant coach Pravin Amre revealed that Khaleel Ahmed is unlikely to play against MI after pulling his hamstring in the last match against the Rajasthan Royals. While awaiting the scan reports, DC may bring in fellow left-arm seamer Chetan Sakariya, who played in their opening game.
Phil Salt in contention for debut
With a weak middle order, DC may consider bringing in Phil Salt in place of Rovman Powell, who has struggled in the current season. DC acquired Salt for INR 2 crore at the mini-auction in Kochi and although he is yet to make his IPL debut, he is an experienced campaigner in the shortest format of the game, having scored 3817 runs in 167 T20 matches in his career so far.
Venue stats favor chasing teams
The Arun Jaitley Stadium has been favorable to chasing teams since the start of 2019, with 23 wins for chasing teams out of 31 T20 matches played at the venue, while six matches were won by the team batting first, and two matches ended in ties.
